First Massachusetts Public Library Certified as Autism Welcoming
Beals Memorial Library in Winchendon, MA has partnered with Autism Alliance to become certified as an Autism WelcomingSM organization. Its Autism Welcoming certification is the first in the state awarded to a public library. Athol Daily News describes the library's "Seeing Beyond the Spectrum" initiative and the sensory-responsive services available to library patrons.

Autism Welcoming Space to Open at Natick Mall
Autism Alliance has announced plans to open an Autism Welcoming business training center and event space for individuals and families impacted by autism. The 2,700-square-foot storefront space is scheduled to open in Fall 2024 and will be located on the second floor of the mall.
