The certification process includes a customized training for staff and/or volunteers, sensory calming kits tailored to your business, Autism Welcoming marketing support, ongoing consultation with our expert team, inclusion in our Certified Business Directory, and much more.
Because trainings are customized, timeline and session length can vary. After an initial conversation, we often talk with a primary business contact once or twice prior to the training itself. The main training typically lasts 60 minutes, with additional time for Q&A. After certification is complete, we offer continued support for businesses as they implement recommendations – our relationships with certified businesses are ongoing!
We deliver most trainings virtually but also welcome the opportunity to work on-site with businesses in and around eastern and central Massachusetts. We operate a training space in the Natick Mall, for businesses that would like an off-site, in-person training experience.
Certification cost varies depending on the specific needs of your organization. A typical training for a mid-sized business costs $1,000, but we work with each business to build a training that fits your budget and requirements. Pricing may vary based on variables such as your business’s number of sites.
